The ancient teachings of yoga offer deep understandings that help us to work with both physical and mental stresses in our lives. They provide practices that help us to heal our bodies and work with our core life issues.
In this workshop we will explore the teachings of yoga that assist us to heal the wounds we carry within, as well as self-healing through yogic diet, yoga postures, yogic self massage and deep relaxation.
In the morning we will experience a gentle yoga flow class, learn yoga’s self massage, have a guided deep relaxation session and then a meditation together. We will then explore the yogic teachings that address the basic building blocks of our existence and how we can apply this knowledge to improve our wellbeing.

Following lunch and a small break, we will convene again to explore how the healing principles of yoga can be applied to our daily lives. We will focus on the ancient teachings of Yama and Niyama for working with our mental tendencies and personal issues.
