ParamaPurusha, that infinite essence of being, is everywhere. There is nowhere that that one is not—in all planes and dimensions of all beings, in the multitude of worlds, in the space and emptiness, in that which is manifest and that which is formless—that infinite consciousness, that self of all essence is.
Without this aware consciousness, there would be no existence for there would be no one to know something exists. In the dance of creativity, that awareness has formed itself into the unique identity of your individuality to witness your existence as your atman, your soul. Witnessing, knowing every thought, knowing every idea, every belief, every action is known to that aware consciousness which is witnessing your existence to your atman.
To know the atman is to bring the awareness of your consciousness out of the activities and thoughts, even out of the identity of your I-feeling, your sense of self, into the witnessing consciousness, the one who knows you exist, that knower of your existence. Can you be that knower, the aware consciousness, knowing that your I-feeling, that your sense of self exist - that you exist? That knowing awareness, that is your atman.
But if you blend your awareness into that knower and you come to know the knower, you experience the nature of that one. For the atman is not separated from the Paramatman, the supreme soul, the aware existence that knows this entire cosmos. That is the essence of all that is.
When you let go into that knowing consciousness you become the knower of all. Your mind cannot contain this knowing. The human mind has limitations. It is witnessed by the knower. This knowing consciousness when the mind grows in magnitude and is beyond the scope of engagement with thoughts, feelings, ideas, and the senses, but comes to rest upon its nature, then the mind becomes stunned, thoughts cease, and a vast subtle feeling opens—awareness, being, love, bliss opens.
You feel that the little self dissolves into the vast essence of being, into eternal love. There is no self and other. There is no thought to cross the mind. There is only this love, this bliss, the dissolving of the shell that has encased you of individuality into true nature. And with this that freedom brings bliss, the unity of love unbound, undefined.
That is who you are, not the boundaries of the mind, not the identity of the 'I', not the body, not the senses, the infinite flow of unconditioned love, of grace, of being, the knower essence of vast love. And then finally even the form of light and love falls away. There is only being— there is only eternal being.
Out of being arises form, arises the elemental existence. Out of that arises form. Out of that arises life. Life, consciousness aware of form, aware, perceiving, dancing in creation until such a time that the yearning to return to stillness draws form back into being. Consciousness, the self, the knower, you, meet the Beloved, meet the one who draws you home. That one dances with you in the subtlety of infinite love. That one dances with you in the form of the divine. It dances with you and takes your heart, opens it, draws you back into the Beloved of your heart, into the soul of your soul. There, where the unstruck music plays, you return again to your own self, to the truth of being, to the witness of your soul, to the love which never ends, and blessedness stills all thoughts and forms. The peace of being simply is.
